Jessica’s Story from Ecuador
My name is Jessica*, I am 17 years old. I am a student right now.
[Growing up] my father only knew about God, but one day when I woke up my parents surprised me when they told me we all were going to church. When I was a little girl in kindergarten my grandmother used to take me every Sunday to church and told me about God.
The moment everything changed
My mother was not a Christian then, but from the moment she went to church and met Jesus she changed a lot. And from that day on everything changed, she liked to serve the Lord. There was a time when the church was without a pastor and my mother took care of the church and the kids there, she has a tender heart for everyone and she wanted the kids and the people would continue to know about God and going to church. I used to help her along with my brothers.
Childcare help me a lot with my studies. I thank God for my sponsors and pray that God bless them. God is big and everything I know, I’ll put it into practice and teach others. I will sing for the Lord, and serve Him in everything he wanted me to do.
