The House of Love cares for about 130 children who are sponsored through ICCM and participate in a holistic development programs. Last week, these children went on an outing to a historical site associated with the Khmer Rouge regime so that they could learn more about the history of their culture. One of the children, named Yari Roeurng said that she really enjoyed the trip and was thankful to the sponsors who make such trips possible for her to learn about God, history, and the great places of her country. After the historical site, the children also went to a water park which was great fun for them! Because these children are sponsored they no longer worry about getting enough food to survive, or being able to afford their educational costs, but are free to be as kids should be- happy, healthy, and growing into good men and women.
