A few weeks back, I was visiting one of the ICCM sponsored residential care project-hostel in Mumbai. One of the young boys, handsomely dressed, who is now doing his 7th grade says, “I come from a poor family. My dad abandoned my family when I was very small. I don’t even know him now. My mom was not able to care for my brother and I, so she brought me to this hostel. Since the day I have come to the hostel, I am enjoying good food that fills my stomach and I am able to continue my education. I want to grow up to be a doctor and serve my community!”
What an amazing transformation story! It is a great privilege to be working with ICCM in order to show grace to these children and make their lives better.
